Resume ATS Checker

Before a human ever reads your resume, software parses it. Paste your resume below and this will flag the specific problems that get applications filtered out — then tell you how to fix each one. Walang upload, walang account.

Nothing you paste leaves your browser This tool runs entirely on your device. Your resume is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted — there's no server involved and no account. Close the tab and it's gone. That's deliberate: you shouldn't have to hand your personal details to a website to get basic feedback.

What this checks, and why each one matters

Contact details the parser can find. An ATS pulls your email and phone into database fields. If they're missing — or buried in a header/footer region, which many parsers skip entirely — you can be unreachable even after passing screening.

Numbers in your experience. This is the single biggest quality difference between resumes. "Handled customer concerns" tells a recruiter nothing; "handled 60–80 calls per shift at 92% QA" is evidence. If the tool finds almost no digits in your experience section, that's usually the fix with the highest return.

Weak verb openers. "Responsible for," "helped with," "assisted in," and "duties included" describe a job description rather than your contribution. Swapping them for concrete action verbs changes how competent the same work reads.

Biodata leftovers. Filipino resumes often inherit habits from the old biodata format — age, birthdate, civil status, religion, height and weight. These aren't just unnecessary; in corporate and overseas applications they invite discrimination concerns and mark the resume as dated. Remove them.

Length. Under about 200 words usually means you've under-sold real experience. Far over a page's worth, for an entry-level applicant, usually means unfocused content. One page for fresh grad, entry level, and BPO; two only once you have roughly five years behind you.

Keyword match. ATS ranking leans on overlap with the posting's own words. If the ad says "stakeholder management," the phrase to use is "stakeholder management" — not "coordination." The honesty rule still applies: only add a keyword if it's genuinely true of you.

⚠️ What a tool cannot check This reads text, so it can't see your layout — and layout is what actually breaks most ATS parsing. Multi-column designs get read out of order, floating text boxes get skipped, and tables scramble. Do this manual test: open your PDF, select all, copy, paste into Notepad. If the result is jumbled, that's what the ATS sees. Fix it by going single-column in a plain .docx. More in the Resume Clinic.
