Who Writes This, and Why It's Free
What I am is someone who watched people close to me spend months looking for work. Sending applications into silence. Getting told to "just try harder." And then — the part that actually made me angry — paying ₱3,000, ₱8,000, ₱15,000 for "VA courses" and locked Facebook groups that turned out to contain information that was free all along. Government training links. Resume tips. Scripts for messaging clients. Repackaged, priced, and sold to the people with the least money to spare.
So I started collecting the real thing: reading the actual laws, pulling the actual government program details, tracking down the free certifications, and writing down what people who'd been through the process said actually worked. That collection turned into this site. Dapat lang na libre.
The policy here, permanently:

How I research and verify things
This is the part I'd want to know about any site giving me advice, so here's the actual method — and its limits.
Laws, forms, and government programs come from primary sources. When this site says RA 11261 makes your NBI clearance free, or that the current Personal Data Sheet is the Revised 2025 edition, that comes from the statute or the issuing agency — not from another blog. Every one of those claims is linked on the Sources page so you can check it yourself in one click.
Numbers and statistics are attributed and dated. Figures like the volume of fake job postings blocked by the DMW, or national underemployment, come from the agency or from reporting that names the agency, and they're labelled with when they were current. These change yearly. If a number here is stale, it's a bug — please report it.
Practical advice comes from people who did it. Salary bands, what a BPO interview is actually like, which platforms pay reliably — this is drawn from job postings, public discussions among Filipino job seekers, and the experiences of people I know. It's the most useful category of information here and also the least "official," which is exactly why I label it.
I mark what I'm not sure about. Every page has a verified date. Where something is a market estimate rather than an official figure — salary ranges, the Versant cutoff, LinkedIn engagement rates — it says so on the page, and the Sources page has a dedicated section listing everything on this site that's my judgment rather than documented fact. I'd rather lose an argument than mislead someone who's job hunting.
What I don't do: I don't invent statistics to sound authoritative, I don't recommend paid products for commissions, and I don't publish a number I can't point to a source for. If I can't verify something, it either gets labelled as uncertain or it doesn't go up.
How this site is paid for
Honestly: ads. There are one or two clearly labelled ad slots on most pages, and that's the entire business model. It's the arrangement that lets the content stay free for someone reading this on a prepaid connection while unemployed.
What that means for you in practice: I have no financial reason to push you toward any particular course, agency, tool, or employer — and I don't. When this site recommends something free, it's because it's genuinely free, and when something has a catch, the catch is stated. The training directory exists specifically to tell you which "free" things are actually free.

Why the name is "Tanggap ka na!"
You may have noticed something. "Tanggap ka na" is the exact line scammers love — "Congratulations, tanggap ka na!" with no interview and no questions asked, often for a job you never applied to. It's in this site's own scam guide as red flag #7.
That was deliberate. I'm taking the line back. In their mouths it's the last thing you hear before you're robbed. Here it means something else: you're accepted — not as a mark, but as someone worth helping, for real and for free.
To be completely clear, because this matters: I don't promise you a job. No honest site can. That's precisely one of the warnings here — be suspicious of anything advertising "guaranteed job placement." What I promise is that every strategy to get you there is complete, accurate to the best of my ability, and free.
Who this is for
For the fresh graduate who has sent a hundred applications and heard nothing back. For the father who wants to try virtual assistant work but won't gamble ₱15,000 on a course. For the mother looking for legitimate work-from-home that isn't a scam. For the person coming back after years of caregiving, or an overseas contract, or an illness. For anyone who was told to "just try harder" — when what they actually needed was information nobody had given them.
